Infiniti Shows Off All of the Q60 in its Latest Teaser Image

Infiniti is undergoing a slew of changes as of late, including a whole new naming system, the introduction and eventual canceling of its first performance sedan, and the teasing of a new concept coupe dubbed the Q60. Thanks to a new image released this morning by the automaker via Autoblog, there is little left to the imagination regarding the Q60 Concept.

This new “teaser image,” if you can really even call it that, shows off the vehicle without any cover in the front-three-quarters pose. This gives us an unimpeded look at the Q60s new F1-inspired nose, slim headlights, bold character lines, flared wheel arches, aggressive front splitter, and sleek side-view mirrors. Altogether, the Q60 Concept looks as if it is just about production ready, and it looks like it is poised to be the best-looking rig in the automaker’s lineup.

The only bits left to the imagination are the rear end, the interior and the drivetrain. Given this is a concept car, expect the interior to be a little over the top and show off tons of conceptual technology that the Japanese luxury carmaker is working on. As for the drivetrain, that remains a complete mystery. Infiniti could go the safe route and use one of its existing powerplants, like the 3.7-liter V-6, or it could go all out and stuff an alternative-fuel system or a high-output V-8 engine in the engine compartment. Judging by the sporty look of this coupe, it is in need of a rumbling V-8 or a turbocharged V-6 to help it battle the M4.

Only time will tell what the Q60 has in store for us, but we don’t have to wait long as it will officially debut on January 11, 2015.
