The last time we saw the Q80 Inspiration, it was little more than a shadowy image that was barely recognizable as a car. Now, we finally get a good look at the concept that will debut at the 2014 Paris Auto Show as Infiniti has released a rear-three-quarters angle image of this stunning machine. Along with the image comes a little bit of new information.

What Infiniti let us in on today isn’t overly telling, but we can at least get a better idea of what to expect. The Q80 concept is quite large as it measures 198.9 inches long, 79.8 inches wide and 53.1 inches high, and it rides atop a 122.2-inch wheelbase. At the corners are lightweight, five-dual-spoke, 22-inch wheels.

The Q80’s fastback body is all about airflow, as there are no outside mirrors to break up the flowing body lines, and the teardrop-shaped greenhouse allow air to flow freely around it. Making up the greenhouse is lightweight acoustic glass to keep outside noise where it belongs without adding too much weight. The most interesting parts of the Q80 Inspiration are its doors. No, it doesn’t have wild gull-wing or scissor-style doors; rather, it has two traditional front doors and two rear-hinged rear doors. This door setup puts the cabin in full view when the doors are open.

Speaking of that cabin, Infiniti tossed a few details our way regarding it. Only the highest-quality materials will make their way into the cabin, including carbon fiber, aluminum and leather. Additionally, the Q80 Inspiration will have a unique 1+1+1+1 seating arrangement. It’s doubtful that there will be four seats in a line, as the seating arrangement alludes to. Instead, there will simply be four individual seats that give each passenger the feeling of having his or her own space.

Infiniti will unveil the concept at the 2014 Paris Auto Show on October 2, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. local time, which is 9:30 a.m. EDT.
