Watch The Governor Of NY Roll Up In A Demon To Talk About Green Cars

Usually, if you’re going to talk to everyone about how great green cars are, you take something like a Nissan Leaf or even a Toyota Prius to the event. Not New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Cuomo rolled up to New York International Auto Show in a Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, to talk about his state’s $70 million pledge to promote green cars, of all things. Among the items he’s pushing is $55 million set aside as incentives for people to buy plug-in hybrids, EVs and even hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. You know, so Cuomo can drive a Demon with a clearer conscience.

In all fairness, the New York Daily News did point out that Cuomo also drove a Chevy Volt at the show. But the video of him rolling up in a Demon, right before plugging fuel efficient cars is just too funny.
