Watch the Hennessey Exorcist Camaro in Action

We knew the Hennessey Exorcist was fast, but now we have proof it’s quicker at the quarter mile than the Dodge Demon. The Texas Tuner posted the above video, which starts out with a wicked burnout and plenty of V-8 symphony goodness.

The Dodge Demon does the quarter mile in 9.56 seconds, which is fast. But, the Exorcist can churn it out in 9.57 seconds, edging out the Mopar rival. Hennessey also says it does 0-60 in 2.1 seconds and 0-100 in 4.7 seconds.

In the video of the Exorcist’s quarter mile run, its trap speed is 147 mph. Keep in mind Hennessey tuned the Camaro for 1,000 horsepower at the crank and it has a 217-mph top speed. The high-flow supercharger and intercooler provide 14 psi of boost.

Next up will be Hennessey’s take on the Dodge Demon. With these kinds of results, we’re in for a real treat.
