Watch Jeep Mock the Kia Sorento

Not too long ago, Kia aired a commercial featuring the new 2019 Sorento. The crossover did a run on Hell’s Revenge in Moab, Utah, a trail that’s popular with the Jeep crowd. Kia said it only modified the Sorento by adding all-terrain tires, installing a skid plate under the oil pan, and disconnecting the sway bars at Hell’s Gate. Surprisingly, the Kia made it without major incident.

Jeep just couldn’t leave the Kia commercial alone. It did a parody video with two guys wearing hamster masks planning a trip to Hell’s Revenge in Moab. They look at their Sorento and start imagining what it would take to get the Kia ready for such a trail, which is quite stressful.

That’s when the hamsters have an idea: take a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk instead. Surprise, surprise, it’s a more trail-worthy vehicle with those trail modifications and more already on the SUV. It’s kind of a brutal commercial, but honestly Kia was kind of asking for it.
