Just last month, Subaru wowed us with the Impreza 5-Door Concept it revealed at the Tokyo Auto Show. Unfortunately, we all know just how honest Subaru’s concept cars are, but I am holding on to hope that it’ll follow through with this design. As a follow up to this unveiling is the announcement that the automaker will debut an Impreza Sedan Concept in Los Angeles.
The teaser image that Subaru released only shows the top half of the sedan from the side, so there is not much detail to go into. What I can make out is that the headlights are identical to the 5-Door Concept from Tokyo, and it has most of the same bodylines as the hatchback. One thing that is clear in this image is that the roofline is far sleeker than the current Impreza, giving the sedan a sportier look.
Otherwise, the details surrounding this new concept remain unknown. Fortunately, the Impreza Sedan Concept will debut at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show, which kicks off for the press on November 17th. Subaru will wait a day to reveal the new concept, however, as its press conference will take place on the 18th at 2:35 PST.
We should see the official images of the entire car just before the official press release, so stay tuned for more details. Like the 5-Door Concept, we likely won’t learn anything about its powertrain, but at least we’ll get a glimpse at what the next-generation Impreza won’t look like, given Subie continues its lying ways with concepts.
