There’s been a lot of talk lately about Subaru coming out with a new, big three-row SUV. The company delivered just such a concept for the Los Angeles Auto Show, and it has everyone talking.
Plenty of people love Subaru, but must get a three-row vehicle from another brand to go along with their Outback of Legacy, if they need more space. Seeing an opportunity, Subaru has created the VIZIV-7 Concept. Of course, everyone naturally assumes this will be called the Tribeca when it hits production, but it’ll probably be named something else.
This should only add fuel to the fire with Subaru’s sales bonanza. People will be lining up at dealerships to get their hands on this SUV.
One point few have noted is that the VIZIV-7 SUV Concept has stolen attention from the Volkswagen Atlas debut. The Subaru is taller, wider and longer than the VW. Just when the Germans thought they had something Americans will love, Subaru comes along and brings something even more attractive.
Just how massive is this Subie? At over 204 inches, it’s longer than a Chevy Tahoe. It’s also 72 inches tall and almost 80 inches wide. In other words, if the production version retains similar dimensions, it will be like no Subaru made before it.
Next year, Subaru will show off a production version of this SUV. It will hit the market in 2018.
