Automotive enthusiasts collectively across the world cringed when a driver crashed a Lamborghini Aventador in London. The accident happened on Sloane Street in the Chelsea district, which is one of the most affluent areas of the British capital. The matte black Aventador was speeding down the street when a Mazda Demio turned off a side street, forcing the Italian supercar between the other vehicle and cars parked on the side of the street, which included a BMW 3 Series and a Nissan Qashqai. The force of the initial impact actually picked up the front of the Aventador. The footage in the video showed extensive front-end damage after the crash. The video was taken by YouTube user Shmee150, who regularly trolls the ritzy parts of London and records footage of supercars that travel down the roads or are parked on the sides of the streets.
The matte black Lambo Aventador has built up quite the reputation in the past, both on the Internet and in London. In the past, the supercar has showed off flames shooting out of its exhaust as it revs its engine. Locals say they are growing tired of young drivers in supercars speeding around and revving their engines at all hours. According to British newspaper The Telegraph, amazingly nobody was arrested at the site of the crash and no charges have been filed against the driver.
Even if the driver faces no legal charges from the accident, he still has to face his marred Aventador, which is punishment enough for most enthusiasts.
