Lexus LC 500 Inspiration Series: Never Has Strained-Pea-Green Looked So Good

When I spent a week testing the Lexus LC 500, I struggled finding any negatives about it. Sure, it is not as crazy a performer as some of its German rivals, but Lexus never intended it to be. Instead, it is a comfortable coupe cruiser with a wild side that’s just a flick of the right foot away. Lexus will add to the appeal of the 2020 LC 500 with a new limited-run Inspiration Series that makes an unusual color look dang good.

The 2020 Lexus LC 500 Inspiration Series starts with an exclusive Nori Green Pearl that looks a lot like something that would come from a baby jar (or maybe a diaper) in the press pictures, but the LC is one of the few cars sexy enough to make it look good. Rounding out the outside are exclusive 21-inch two-tone wheels.

Inside, the LC Inspiration Series abandons the sea-of-brown the standard model comes with and shakes things up with a two-tone color scheme of Saddle Tan aniline leather seats and Dark Black Amber steering wheel, dashboard, center console, and doors. Completing the interior updates are custom door-sill plates.

Lexus will ship the LC 500 Inspiration Edition to dealers in the fall of 2020. It will limit this special coupe to just 100 units, and pricing will come closer to its launch date.
