Toyota has created what some are terming the ultimate redneck luxury limo. It was unveiled at the SEMA Show, where crazy is the norm, yet this vehicle has captured a fair amount of attention for its largeness.

The automaker calls the stretched Tundra the “Tundrasine” concept. It’s based on a 1794 Edition 4×4 CrewMax 5.7L V8. At over 26 feet long and has a 235.9-inch wheelbase, Toyota ensures the truck is completely impractical for off-roading, not that anyone would try to use it for such a thing. The thing also tips the scale at 7,978 pounds, which is 2,288 pounds heavier than the production version of the truck. A Midnight Black Metallic paint job gives it a sophisticated, proper limo-style appearance (kind of).

The pickup also has eight doors, making it easy to get into and out of the cab, which Toyota says has a design that’s inspired by luxury private jets – a fitting design for a limousine. The seats and select surfaces are covered with a soft brown leather, adding a classy yet rugged look to the vehicle. Everyone enjoys individual seats, plus mood lighting to set the right tone for any ride.

Most surprising about the Toyota Tundrasine isn’t how long it measures, but the fact that for a SEMA build it’s rather tame. Sure, the thing’s big and all, but there are no crazy on-board technologies or anything other than the size that’s over-the-top. In a way, the vehicle is anticlimactic for a show that’s known for extreme, often insane builds.

While you might be cheering and jumping for job at the news of the Tundrasine, don’t get your hopes up too much. So far, Toyota seems to not be interested in creating a production version of the truck. While such a thing wouldn’t appeal to everyone, there’s a definite market for meaty limousines, like the Hummer H2 limos that have been popular with a certain demographic.

Just like all regular Tundras, Toyota assembled the stretch limo pickup at its factory in San Antonio.
