Toyota Reveals Land Cruiser Heritage Edition Price

There’s no denying the trail capabilities of the mighty Toyota Land Cruiser. When such a vehicle turns 60 you’ve gotta celebrate, and as we covered before, Toyota is doing just that with the upcoming Heritage Edition. That special model has officially been priced and not everyone is happy about it.

If you want to buy the 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition, the SUV will set you back $89,040. That might sound like a lot, but consider the only other Land Cruiser available for 2020 starts at $86,710. The Land Cruiser hasn’t been a cheap SUV in North America for some time. At least you get all kinds of luxuries and advanced technologies for the money, along with amazing trail capabilities.

Still, that difference of $2,330 is getting some automotive journalists all tied up in knots. Yes, you get some special aesthetics like either Blizzard Pearl or Midnight Black Metallic paint and exclusive BBS wheels, they argue the price difference is ridiculous. It’s like they haven’t realized they’re arguing about the price increase on an SUV that already costs more than some homes. Anyone buying a brand new Land Cruiser likely won’t feel too much of a pinch with the $2,330 price increase, if they’re really interested in the Heritage Edition.

If you are interested in the Land Cruiser Heritage Edition, Toyota says it’s only planning to make 1,200 of them, so you might want to ask your local dealer about ordering it.
