The LC 500 Inspires You to Spend Money with this Limited Model

The Lexus LC 500 is the automotive equivalent of tossing your cash into a bonfire and laughing hysterically as it burns to a crisp. It’s not that the LC 500 is a bad car; it’s more like it’s an unnecessary car. Then again, that’s what makes it so freaking awesome. And now, Lexus is giving you even more reason to throw greenbacks at the figurative bonfire that is the LC 500 with its all-new Inspiration Series.

The 2019 Lexus LC 500 Inspiration Series will set itself apart from the rest of its lineup with an eye-melting Flare Yellow paint job that makes Bieber’s chromed Fisker Karma look timid. This bright hue is contrasted by some carbon-fiber inserts on the roof and lower grille, and its 21-inch chrome rollers.

Inside, the yellow treatment carries on with bespoke yellow Alcantara door inserts and yellow contrast stitching on the semi-aniline leather seats, dash, glove box, and steering wheel. Rounding out the interior updates are the carbon-fiber door-sill plates with an “LC Inspiration Series of 100” inscription.

And you’ve gotta have somewhere to put those dolla’ dolla’ bills while you haul them to the fire. The LC 500 Inspiration Series delivers with a leather Lexus garment bag that folds into a travel bag. This bag includes Flare Yellow lining highlights the inside panels and double yellow stitching on the top hem.

Under its hood, the LC 500 Inspiration Series will come with the same 5.0-liter V-8 powerplant that injects 471 horsepower through a 10-speed automatic transmission for a 4.4-second run to 60 mph.

Lexus will limit the 2019 LC 500 Inspiration Series to just 100 examples. They will be available in April 2019 at a starting price of $106,210.
