A Lot of Words Go Into Making This 2019 Lexus NX More Luxurious

The Lexus NX battles in one of the more competitive segments in the automotive world — the compact luxury crossover market — so Lexus saw it fit for a new, better-equipped version. The problem is, this new NX’s name is a bit of a mouthful: 2019 Lexus NX F SPORT Black Line Special Edition. Phew…

So, this new special NX will sit on the same base features and upgraded chassis as the NX F SPORT. The F SPORT upgrades include 18-inch wheels, a retuned suspension, aggressive side sills, a more pronounced grille, sportier seats, and more.

The Black Line Special Edition adds to the F SPORT a 14-speaker Mark Levinson audio system — the first-ever Mark Levinson system in the NX — with 835 watts, black-and-white NuLuxe seating, a 10.3-inch navigation system, blind-spot monitoring, heated and ventilated front seats, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, intuitive parking assist, a hands-free power liftgate, active sound control, and more.

Lexus will offer just 1,000 examples of the 2019 NX F SPORT Black Line Special Edition, and buyers can choose from Ultra White, Obsidian, and Atomic Silver exterior color options. Prices will start from $49,575 for the front-wheel-drive model and $49,975 for all-wheel drive.
