It’s no big secret that Lambo is planning to reveal a new special-edition rig in Geneva to celebrate the 100th birthday of its founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini. What has been a closely guarded secret is what this new supercar will look like. Now, a leaked patent image may have spoiled that secret for everyone.

Lambo CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, has already made it clear that the Centenario LP 770-4—the name of this special celebratory rig—will not be based on the new Huracán. This confirms with near certainty that it will be a repackaged version of the Aventador. And what do we have in the image above? That’s right, supercar fans; what looks to be a heavily reworked Aventador. There, of course, is no confirmation of my suspicions just yet, but the writing is certainly on the wall at this point.

As its name implies, the Centenario LP 770-4 will boast 770 metric ponies—759 ‘Murrican horsepower—which means it likely features a retuned version of the Aventador’s 690-horsepower 6.5-liter V-12 powerplant.

With so many extra ponies heading to all four wheels, the performance of the Centenario LP 770-4 will be nothing short of outrageous. Look for a 0-to-62 time in the mid-two-second range while top speed could roll over the Aventador’s 217 mph mark.

The Centenario LP 770-4 will also be super limited as initial reports indicated that it will only come as a coupe and there will only be 20 units available. Road & Track, however, is reporting that these will also be 20 convertible models available for the taking.

More details should start rolling out soon as we near its reveal in Geneva, so keep it locked here for more info.
