If you absolutely hate minivans or need an SUV to deal with heavy regular snowfall in your area, consider the Acadia. It comes with a tough, chiseled exterior that makes the vehicle look right at home with its heavy-duty truck siblings. The interior, however, is rather modern and comfortable. The seats are all well-padded and legroom on the third row is surprisingly good. Even the cargo space is much larger than it appears, which is a pleasant surprise. Unlike heavy-duty trucks, the Acadia provides a more car-like driving experience that makes dealing with heavy traffic and tight urban spots more bearable.
