6. 2016 Ford Expedition – Best SUV for the money
The line between a crossover and SUV has gotten blurred lately, but not to me. I still say a crossover sits on a unibody and an SUV has a real-life body-on-frame setup. The latter is tough to find these days, so the options are thin. From the limited group, we chose the 2016 Ford Expedition as the best, thanks to its $45,435 base price, 365-horsepower EcoBoost V-6, and mammoth 9,200-pound towing capacity. For good measure, the Expedition’s 6.5-seconds sprint to 60 mph easily crushes the competition.
