9. Fiat 500 Abarth
When you have a tiny budget and you can only fit a tiny car where you live, that doesn’t mean you have to get some uninspiring economy box that is powered by a couple of lethargic gerbils. The 500 Abarth is the nasty littler performance version of the 500. Fiat loads the car with all kinds of inspired Italian styling inside and out, without getting too ridiculous, making the car fun to look at. The fun factor is turned up even more when you fire up the engine and hear the throaty exhaust note. The little turbocharged four-cylinder power plant rockets the car around like some sort of a high-powered go-kart, making it a blast to drive on crowded city streets, through tight alleyways or even on a twisty, winding track on the weekends.
