Toyota Pickups Tow in All-New SX Packages
Toyota is set to update its two pickup trucks, the 2019 Tacoma and 2019 Tundra, with all-new packages. Both pickups will receive new SX packages, but each has its own set of features.
The 2019 Tundra SX, which Toyota bases on the SR5 Double Cab model with the 5.7-liter V-8, adds a sleek and smooth look to this full-size pickup. The SX package deletes all the Tundra’s badges and adds body-color pieces, including the grille surrounds, front bumper end caps, and rear bumper. Rounding out the exterior updates are 18-inch black alloy wheels. Inside, Toyota treats buyers to upgraded bucket seats for enhanced comfort.
The 2019 Toyota Tundra’s SX package will be available with two- or four-wheel drive and in three color options: Super White, Midnight Black Metallic, and Barcelona Red Metallic. It will add $1,755 to the base price of the SR5 trim, making its total cost $36,245 to $39,295.

2019 Tacoma SX Package
The 2019 Toyota Tacoma’s SX package doesn’t have the sleekness of the Tundra, but it is a cost-effective way to black out the body. Toyota bases the Tacoma SX Package on the SR Access Cab model. This package blacks out the badging, overfenders, mirror caps, grille, door handles and headlamps. It also gains 16-inch matte-black-alloy wheels.
The SX Package adds $560 to the base price of the 2019 Tacoma SR Access Cab, putting its price at $26,110 to $28,600. It is available in six colors: Super White, Silver Metallic, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Midnight Black Metallic, Barcelona Red Metallic and Quicksand.
