It’s that time of the year, as automakers start prepping their 2017 models for release, and with this preparation comes the revelation of prices. Today, we learn the pricing behind the refreshed 2017 Subaru Forester, and the price increase compared to last year is relatively tiny.

As a reminder, the 2017 Forester gets a fair amount of changes for being just a refresh, as its grille, fascia, headlights, and front bumper are all new. Additionally, the new Forester gains a revised optional EyeSight system with lane-keep assist, blind-spot detection, reverse auto braking, and more. For all of those changes, the base model only gains an extra $200, putting it at $22,595.

Moving up the trim levels and transmission options, the Forester 2.5i with the CVT jumps to $23,595. The standard 2.5i Premium model runs $25,495, adding a CVT to the 2.5i Premium jumps it to $25,995. Moving into the 2.5i Limited and Touring, these models run $29,195 and $31,295, respectively.

Buyers looking for a sportier crossover can opt for the 2.0XT Premium and 2.0XT Touring models, which cost $29,295 and $34,295, respectively. Complementing the potent 250-horsepower 2-liter boxer engine in the 2.0XT Touring is a new-for-2017 Active Torque Vectoring system.

Subaru also announced the pricing for tons of options available with the Forester. These are as follows.
• $600 for the Alloy Wheel Package
• $500 for the all-weather package
• $1,695 for the All Weather package, Blind Spot Detection, and EyeSight
• $2,145 for the previous package plus a power liftgate
• $1,300 for navigation plus audio with a Harmon Kardon amp
• $2,945 for an even more upscale audio system
• $1,995 for EyeSight and navigation

The 2017 Forester will hit showroom floors in the late summer of 2016.
