Infiniti has its sights set on the leaders of the luxury car segment and is steadily making changes to move itself up in terms of market share. Last year, it jumped 13.8 percent in sales, but it is looking for more. One way to achieve success in this segment is to craft vehicles that can do battle with the best of the best, and this is where the brand’s new Limited models come into play. Last year, the Japanese luxury automaker revealed the fully loaded QX80 Limited and today, it has announced that the QX70 Limited will debut in New York.

The changes that make this version of the QX70 unique are immediately noticeable. Up front, this rig features a unique fascia that includes LED daytime running lights in place of the typical fog lights and a new mesh grille that will soon find its way onto all 2017 QX70s. Also exclusive to the Limited model are its body-colored fender vents, dark-finish mirror caps and taillight housings, a stainless-steel rear bumper protector, a “Limited” badge, and 21-inch painted aluminum wheels wrapped in V-rated rubber.

Inside, the premium amenities continue with pillow quilting on the seat inserts and center console, Graphite-colored leather seats with Stone inserts, Stone-colored stitching and piping, heated and cooled front seats, open-pore wood trim, a dark-colored headliner, and aluminum pedals.

Outside of the extra features, the QX70 Limited is pretty much standard everywhere else. This includes its under-the-skin bits like the 325-horsepower 3.7-liter V-6, seven-speed auto transmission, and standard rear-wheel drive. Buyers can also opt for all-wheel drive if they so desire.

The QX70 Limited will make its in-the-metal debut in New York on March 23rd. We should have more info to pass on after that, so stay tuned.
