Redesigned 2018 Hyundai Sonata Gets its Price Tag
Back in April, Hyundai revealed the refreshed 2018 Sonata to the world. Today, we learn just how much these new duds will set you back.
The 2018 Sonata will start from $22,050 for the base SE trim level, which includes the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and six-speed automatic transmission. Looking for a little more thriftiness? There’s the Eco trim, which starts from $22,650 and gains the 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The SEL, Sport, and Limited trims will set you back $23,700, $25,200, and $27,400, respectively.
Looking for that sweet new eight-speed transmission Hyundai added to the Sonata Lineup? You’ll have to opt for either the Sport 2.0T or Limited 2.0T trims, which also add the 245-horsepower 2.0-liter engine. These trims run $27,600 and $32,450, respectively.
On top of being affordably priced, the Sonata is also well equipped for its class. Some of its standard features include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert.
Though Hyundai didn’t give up the official date, it did announce the 2018 Sonata will be in showrooms sometime in the summer of 20017. Stay tuned for additional updates as they become available.
