In the 2015 season, Mercedes-AMG Petronas won the constructor’s championship in F1, plus it had two runner-up titles from Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. In celebration of all its success, the automaker is releasing a special Champion Edition A45 AMG hatchback.

The changes to this special model are both on the inside and outside, making this truly a unique hot-hatch. On the outside, this limited-run AMG features Petrol Green and black highlights that are similar to the F1 W06 Hybrid. The aero package also gets a nice upgrade in the form of a larger front splitter, unique flics up front, and a new rear spoiler.

Rounding out the exterior of the A45 Champion Edition are new 19-inch wheels in Titanium Gray with Petrol Green accents, and the Night Package. This stunning body is available in three colors: Mountain Grey Metallic, Designo Mountain Grey Magno and Polar Silver Metallic.

The upgrades to the cabin are equally awesome as the changes to the exterior. In here you’ll find a Champion Edition badge on the center console lid, Performance seats wrapped in leather and Dinamica microfiber with exclusive stripes, Petrol Green stitching on the armrests and dash, and a Performance steering wheel wrapped in Dinamica microfiber with a Petrol Green 12 o’ clock marking and stitching.

Completing this special model is the AMG Dynamic Plus Package, which includes a mechanical front diff for better traction, and the AMG Exclusive Package, which adds in heated front seats, a Lava Black leather upper dash and performance seat belt guides in silver chrome.

Under its hood, the A45 AMG remains unchanged in this special-edition format. It features a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that pounds out 381 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. This insane output results in a 4.2-second jaunt to 62 mph and a 155 mph top speed.

This special model will be available only from January 2016 to May 2016 at a starting price of €65,402.40 ($69,277.49).
