Lexus Dresses Up the LX 570 with New Sport Package

To say the Lexus LX 570 is a little long in the tooth is an understatement, as it went through its last redesign way back in 2008. In the quick-changing automotive world, this makes it a relative relic, but it remains a staple to Lexus just like its platform-mate, the Land Cruiser, has been for Toyota. The 2020 LX 570 will get a mild update in the form of a new Sport Package that dresses this old dog up a bit.

While the 2020 Lexus LX 570 Sport Package will not enhance its performance, it will upgrade its looks inside and out. On the outside, the 2020 LX 570’s all-new Sport Package will add an exclusive grille, a new front fascia with a sportier lower lip, 21-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, an updated rear lower valence, and body-color mirrors with chrome accents.

Inside, the new Sport Package will include semi-aniline leather seats in black, Cabernet, or Moonlight White; a black headliner; a Mark Levinson 19-speaker audio system; a heated, linear espresso wood steering wheel; a head-up display; and a wireless charging pad.

The 2020 Lexus LX 570 and the new Sport Package will hit showrooms in September 2019. It will start from $83,280 for the two-row model. The three-row model will start from $91,380. With the Sport Package, which will only be available on the three-row model, the LX 570 will set buyers back $99,300.
