F-150 Limited Will Get a Raptor Heart Transplant

Some people are addicted to power, especially when it comes to trucks. The most powerful F-150, the Raptor, comes with some additional baggage you might not want. Just try parking it pretty much anywhere but Costco.

Anyway, the Blue Oval sees an opportunity to make cash, something it certainly has decided won’t happen by manufacturing cars. For that express purpose, you’ll be able to get the 2019 Ford F-150 Limited with the Raptor’s engine.

Yes, you can enjoy 450 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. of torque without the additional weight of front-to-back skid plates and heavy-duty suspension, not to mention the additional width of the Raptor.

The Limited will only come with the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 from the Raptor. That means more power for your dollar.

Of course, you get all kinds of luxuries with this version of the F-150, if you’re into that sort of thing. For example, a Miko suede headliner will feel silky soft against your hair. Camel Back two-tone leather wraps around the multicontour front seats, which have built-in massagers. Ford also throws in real ash swirl wood trim pieces for the cab. Exterior satin finish trim around the grille, windows, etc. also lets people know you’re richer and therefore better. You almost wonder if anyone will put anything more than golf clubs in the payload.

Soon, the 2019 Ford F-150 Limited will be tapping into all that power so its owners can get to their yacht parties sooner.
