Acura MDX PMC Edition Has Been Revealed

While everyone has been busy arguing about and laughing at the Tesla Cybertruck, news of the Acura MDX PMC Edition reveal has been largely buried. Considering it’s a hand-assembled, exclusive edition of the popular crossover with a limited production run, it is worth noting.

A mere 300 of these will be built for the U.S. market. All of them will wear Valencia Red Pearl, an exclusive color you can’t get on any other MDX out there. Pumping things up further is the Advance Package and A-Spec package both included.

Among the other exclusive details are gloss black exterior trim pieces, black Milano leather seats with Alcantara inserts and red accent stitching, and a special plaque attached to the lower console.

Acura has so far made the TLX PMC Edition, which has been praised by some and left other people scratching their heads. After all, for an inflated price you get a vehicle that normally is rather affordable, but has been assembled by the NSX master technicians for a more premium experience. It’s an intriguing idea, but obviously most people find it ridiculous. Considering the production runs are highly limited, it’s doubtful Acura really cares.

Pricing hasn’t been released yet, but expect it to eclipse what you would ever pay for any other Acura MDX. To give you an idea, the TLX PMC Edition had a starting MSRP of $48,950.
