Redesigned RAM 1500 Gets the Laramie Longhorn Treatment

The 2019 RAM 1500 is completely redesigned, as it boasts a new look, a lighter body, new powertrains, and a completely revamped interior. As we all know, RAM is no stranger to releasing umpteen billion versions of its pickups, ranging from the rugged to the luxurious, and the 2019 model year will be no different. Folks, meet the 2019 RAM 1500 Laramie Longhorn.

The Laramie Longhorn is no stranger to truck lovers everywhere, as the Texas Auto Writers Association has awarded it Luxury Pickup of Texas two years running. And it looks like it’s trying for three straight years in 2019.

The RAM 1500 Laramie Longhorn will boast all the luxury bits buyers expect, including hand-wrapped full-grain leather upholstery, southwestern-inspired door panel and armrest coverings, embossed alligator-skin-pattern leather on the center console, instrument panel, seats and door panel inserts, chrome accents, a brushed-nickel metal badge on the console lid, and “Longhorn” branded on the wood-trimmed glove box door.

The luxurious bits continue throughout the cabin. They include rear barn-wood accents, ambient lighting, heated front seats, available rear-seat ventilation, 4G Wi-Fi, SiriusXM, five USB ports, a 12-inch touchscreen, and more.

Outside, the Laramie Longhorn features two-tone RV Match Brown trim or monotone paint, premium LED headlights and taillights, a chrome billet RAM grille, adaptive front lighting, chrome bumpers, tow hooks and side steps, and 20- or 22-inch wheels.

We’re still waiting on official release dates and pricing on the 2019 RAM 1500 lineup, so stay tuned.
