VW Brings More Standard Safety Features to 2019 Atlas
As a brand-new model for 2018, it would be understandable if Volkswagen left the Atlas unchanged in 2019. While it will be visually identical to the 2018 model, the 2019 VW Atlas will see a ton of feature shuffling to add value to the various trims.
The 2019 VW Atlas will continue with its seven trim levels: S, SE, SE w/ Technology, SE w/ Technology R-Line, SEL, SEL R-Line, and SEL Premium. Starting with the base S trim, VW will add Front Assist with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and heated side mirrors as new standard features.
The 2019 VW Atlas SE will have just a single new standard feature: tri-zone automatic climate control. The SEL model will gain the Volkswagen Digital Cockpit, media control, LED taillights, Discover Media navigation system, and a heated steering wheel as new standard features.
The final change for the 2019 VW Atlas will be to the SE w/ Technology. This tech-loaded trim will add two new options: a universal garage door opener and 20-inch alloy wheels.
