Hyundai has been steadily trying to give luxury car buyers lower-priced alternatives to premium models. Now, things are getting really serious with the release of Hyundai’s Genesis sub-brand. Today, we finally get to see how much value is packed into the new flagship sedan, as Genesis has just revealed official pricing for its G90.

We know that the Genesis G90 will be chock-full with premium features, like auto emergency braking with pedestrian detection, smart blind-spot detection, lane-keep assist, smart cruise control, high-beam assist, a multi-view camera, leather seating, wireless charging, power sunshades, a 17-speaker audio system, and more. Now, we also know that it’ll be a supreme value at just $68,100 for the base 3.3T Premium model. Relative to the Equus that preceded it, this marks a $6,600 price increase.

In addition to the long list of premium features that this model comes with, it also has a 3.3-liter twin-turbo engine that cranks out 365 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. At its base price, power goes only to the rear wheels, but buyers can add all-wheel drive for an extra $2,500.

Buyers looking or more features and muscle can go with the 5.0 Ultimate trim, which includes a 420-horsepower 5.0-liter V-8. This model starts from $69,700 and tops out at $72,200 with all-wheel drive.

Considering the G90 will play in roughly the same class as the $72,520 Lexus LS 460, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class (starting from $96,600), and the $81,500 Audi A8, it looks like it’ll offer a lot of bang for the buck. The big question mark is whether buyers will consider going from a premium dealership to a Hyundai dealer to check out the G90, or not.

We’ll see how this shakes out in the coming years.
