With the fiftieth anniversary of the Mercedes-Benz 600 upon us, the German automaker has announced it will be debuting the new Mercedes-Maybach Pullman in Geneva. The second model in the Mercedes-Maybach lineup takes its spot at the top, showing off extreme luxury with a partitioned-off passenger area for two and a number of other high-end features.

The new Pullman measures 21.3 feet long, making it 3.5 feet longer than the Mercedes-Maybach S600. Pulling the extra weight around is a twin-turbo 6.0-liter V-12 engine that puts out 523 horsepower and 612 lb.-ft. of torque. Peak torque output is available at just 1,900 rpm, meaning the car should be able to get high-powered executives to their high-power lunches and meetings on time.

Of course, cars like this aren’t really made for the driver, because the owner likely will never get behind the wheel. There are plenty of luxury features in the backseat area, including two executive seats. The seatbacks can recline back to 43.5 degrees and go upright to 19 degrees. The headrests come with extra padding, and embedded calf supports are also included. According to Mercedes, the passengers in the two executive seats get more legroom than in any other car in the same market segment. Thanks to the large rear pillars, the two passengers are well-hidden from view while riding around town. Two fold-down seats that face rearward are also available, allowing guests to ride along.

Leather is all over the place, not only on the seats but also the consoles, door panels, and even the headliner. The rear passengers can see the vehicle speed, time, and outside temperature using three analog gauges embedded in the roof liner. When privacy is needed, a glass partition wall can be lowered, sectioning off the rear seats from the driver and front passenger. The car also comes with curtains for the rear windows. If the passengers want to watch something, they can on the 18.5-inch screen. A Burmester surround sound system rounds out the entertainment features. There are a dizzying amount of customization options as well, accommodating a wide variety of tastes.
