Here It Is: The Porsche Cayenne Coupe

Somehow Porsche didn’t jump on the coupe SUV bandwagon with all its fellow German automakers, until now. We have beheld the glory of the new Cayenne Coupe, which will soon be populating the driveway of McMansions in your area.

Designed to rival the BMW X6, Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, and other questionably styled vehicles, Porsche put considerable work into this thing. It actually looks good, with a sportier and wider stance versus the regular Cayenne, which isn’t exactly ugly. Pretty much everything from the A-pillars back is completely new. A panoramic glass roof comes standard, but you can opt for a carbon-fiber replacement with a center seam as part of one of three sports packages. Of course, there’s the popular Sport Chrono Package, adaptive suspension dampers, and plenty more goodies.

You can order the Porsche Cayenne Coupe now. The SUV will hit dealerships in late May.
