2020 Mustang Shelby GT350 Gains Throwback Heritage Model

Ford loves paying homage to its past icons, and no models are more iconic than the 1965 Mustang Shelby GT350. In 2020, the newest take on this legendary Shelby-tuned pony car will gain a limited-run Heritage Edition that harks back to the model’s iconic design.

The key step in creating a model that pays respect to a legend like the 1965 Shelby GT350 is to get the look just right. Ford nails it with the 2020 Mustang Shelby GT350 boasting the same Wimbleton White base paint with Guardsman Blue over-the-top and side stripes. The exterior is rounded out with Guardsman Blue front and rear badges.

Inside, the 2020 Mustang Shelby GT350 Heritage Edition will boast all-black seats with red contrast stitching and a unique dash badge to set it apart.

Not only does this package pay the proper respect to its ancestor, but its pricing also offers a subtle nod to the original, as it will carry a $1,965 premium on top of the Shelby GT350 and Shelby GT350R base prices. With the base pricing included, the 2020 Mustang Shelby GT350 Heritage Edition will run $62,405. The 2020 Mustang Shelby GT350R Heritage Edition will start from $75,400.
