You should turn everything on in a used car to ensure it works. Switch on the radio, try the wiper blades, use the seat heaters and even engage the four-wheel-drive. Many times if a car has not been properly cared for it will have different components that do not work properly or at all. For example, flood-damaged cars often have radios, cigarette lighters and other interior components that work sporadically, if at all. Remember that you are buying all of the features of a car, including the gizmos, so turn it all on and make sure it works before you hand over your cash.
