Jaguar Shuffles The F-Type Lineup

When you have a vehicle as perfect as the F-Type, there’s no sense in making huge changes. Still, Jaguar’s found some details to tweak for the 2018 model lineup.

A few exterior changes have been introduced, mostly full-LED headlights and side vents. All models get slimline seats, which weigh less and improve legroom. The new R-Dynamic features gloss black details for the front fascia, hood vents, side sills and rear diffuser. It uses the supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine.

For just one year, Jaguar will also offer an F-Type 400 Sport model. It will squeeze between the R and SVR in the lineup. It comes with performance brakes, Configurable Dynamics, an upgraded chassis and yellow contrast stitching.

If you have a GoPro, new integration tech lets you record track runs. It works with the ReRun app, with different performance data overlaid, so you can analyze how you screwed up on turn 7 during each hot lap and why. You can even download the video to a smartphone or post it on social media platforms.

Expect to see the new F-Types hit Jaguar dealers during the first quarter of this year.
