Mopar Announces New Fiat 500X Accessories

If you or someone you know is interested in the new Fiat 500X, the good news is that Mopar has been hard at work on creating a variety of accessories. That means people can easily make the compact crossover “theirs” by customizing its looks and adding features they find useful.

In total, there are over 100 new accessories for the Fiat 500X. They accommodate a variety of budgets since the individual accessories range in price from under $20 to $1,775.

For $275 each, owners can add one of three different 18-inch wheel styles. The wheels can also be had in a variety of colors. Mopar will release a fourth design in July.

Adding a bit of functionality to the 500X are different racks and carriers, allowing owners to take along skis, bikes and other equipment that doesn’t fit in the cargo area. The vehicle must have the roof side rails and cross bars installed to work with the racks and carriers, which range in price from $50 to $579.

Fiat 500X owners who really want to add some pieces of flair to their vehicle can opt for one or more exterior graphics packages. Mopar is offering 14 different options, such as the Special Edition “Rebel” Graphics Package that turns the roof and hood red, plus adds red and grey bodyside graphics along with spoiler treatments. Expect to shell out anywhere from $100 to $495 for the graphics.

Not all of the Mopar accessories are about carrying stuff or looking different. A cat-back exhaust system is available, which adds horsepower and torque, plus makes the exhaust tone deeper for those who like that sort of a thing. The system costs $995.

Another cool accessory is a Mopar Web WiFi kit. It includes a module and harness that turn the Fiat 500X into a mobile WiFi hotspot. Up to five devices can connect to the Internet at a time. The whole setup costs just under $500.
