It is quite clear that Buick wants to join the other brands in the efficient compact-SUV class. They really jumped into it nicely with the well-designed Buick Encore. The first of the Encore’s hit their show room floors in February 2013 so you should be seeing them on the road already. At a base price of around $25,000, it’s not the cheapest of the bunch but definitely brings with it some added luxuries native to the Buick brand. Fuel efficiency-wise it boasts an impressive 28 MPG average and 138 horse power from it’s 1.4L turbocharged 4 cylinder engine.
