As the proud owner of an ST—a 2014 Focus ST—I love everything that Ford Performance has done with its tiny lineup of hatches. They are not ridiculously overpowered, but have just enough to make things interesting, plus, they just look and drive awesome. Today, Ford has announced that a new member will be joining the ST family in Europe, the Fiesta ST200.

While there is a lot that sets the ST200 apart from the standard Fiesta ST, one thing stands out. Ford retuned the small ST’s 1.6-liter powerplant to produce 200 PS (197 horsepower) and 290 Nm (214 pound-feet) of torque, which are 20 PS (20-horsepower) and 50 Nm (37 pound-feet) bumps over the standard model. What’s more, thanks to an overboost function, the engine can push its output up to 215 PS (212 horsepower) and 320 Nm (236 pound-feet) of torque for 15 seconds.

The engine mates to a six-speed manual transmission with a final ratio of 4.06-to-1, which is a bit shorter than the base Fiesta ST’s 3.82-to-1 ratio. All of this adds up to a 0-to-62 mph time of just 6.7 seconds and a top speed of 143 mph—improvements of 0.2 seconds and 4 mph relative to the base Fiesta ST.

Also setting the Fiesta ST200 apart is its exclusive Storm Grey body, matte-black 17-inch alloy wheels, and red-painted brake calipers. Inside the cabin, this special model gains partial-leather, Charcoal-colored Recaro seats; contrast silver stitching, illuminated scuff plates, and silver highlights on the seatbelts.

Other than the aforementioned updates, the Fiesta ST200 has all the other handling and performance goodies of the base ST. Items like the Torque Vectoring Control, specially built front steering knuckle, special dampers, a more responsive steering system, and enhanced braking all make the journey over from the ST.

Ford expects to start delivering the ST200 to buyers in Europe in the summer of 2016. There is no mention of availability in the U.S., and I doubt that we’ll see it here.
