Ford Teases Something New for the LA Auto Show, Possibly the Mustang GT350

Ford has something up its sleeve for the LA Auto Show, and the teaser video below helps give us an idea of what to expect. The video, which appears to be the first in a series of five,

features several Ford employees and high-level executives talking about Ford performance. Between the clips of Ford’s racing and folks talking are quick teaser images of what appears to be a new Mustang, and at the end is one final teaser image with “11.17.14” displayed at the bottom.

These teaser images include an Alcantara steering wheel, a set of performance rims, a huge exhaust tip, aluminum pedals, a honeycomb grille, and a “Powered by Ford” valve cover. This may mean nothing to some of you, but to gearheads this can only mean one thing: Ford has a new performance model that it’ll debut at the LA Auto show that kicks off on November 18, 2014. But what model can this possibly be?

A close examination of the image by Autoblog, points toward this vehicle being the long-rumored Mustang GT350. The first indication that this is the GT350 is the fact that the font used at the end of the video matches the font used on the GT350 badge that Mustang6G.com dug up . Additionally, the valve cover in the picture certainly doesn’t belong to anything other than a meaty V-8., and there haven’t been any reports of a new, V-8-powered, performance-oriented F-150 in the works. By reasonable deduction, this can only be a Mustang, and the only rumored higher-performance Mustang in the works is the GT350.
