The Ford Focus has rested on its laurels since its redesign in 2012, as it’s only gone through a mild refresh in 2015 and added its ST and RS performance variants since then. But it looks like this lack of change will soon end, as Ford’s European arm just revealed a teaser video showing off a brand-new Focus.
The video, while not overly telling, shows a revised front end and new headlights with sharp LED tubes bisecting them. What is also clear is that the front bumper will boast a large air vent, the grille will take on what looks to be more of a Fusion-like shape, and the hatch will get a little curvier. We can also see the hood will continue to feature aggressive ridges that give it a sportier face.
Sadly, there is not much else revealed in this video other than the official reveal date for the all-new Focus, which will be April 10, 2018. So, we just have a few more days until this all becomes official.
We’ll continue monitoring the news feeds to see if any new updates roll out ahead of the enw-generation Focus’ debut.
Stay tuned for updates.
