FIAT 500X Gets a Blue Sky Edition

FIAT doesn’t get much news, but every now and again, it graces our pages with a special model. Today is one of those days, as the Italian automaker released a new 2018 500X Blue Sky Edition.

Fiat has taken its resident crossover and added a handful of updates to create this new package. As the name implies, the 500X Blue Sky Edition boasts plenty of blue touches, especially inside. Here, you’ll find blue-patterned cloth seating and a blue instrument panel. Blue also makes its way to the outside, as one of the four available exterior colors will be (wait for it…) Blue Sky Metallic. The other three colors will include Bianco Gelato, Nero Cinema, and Grigio Graphite.

FIAT will also add a handful of upscale features to the 500X Sky Blue. These will include a dual-pane sunroof, automatic headlights, fog lights, and satin-chrome mirror caps, door handles, body-side moldings, fog-lamp bezels, front and rear badges, tail lamp bezels and liftgate handle. Rounding out the changes will be 17-inch aluminum wheels on the front-wheel-drive models.

The Blue Sky Edition package will be a $1,495 option on front-wheel-drive models and a $1,195 option on all-wheel-drive versions of the 500X. This means the 500X Blue Sky Edition will start from $21,490, while the all-wheel-drive version will start from $25,085.

The 2018 FIAT 500X Blue Sky Edition will hit showrooms in spring 2018.
