2019 Toyota 4Runner Goes Dark With New Nightshade Package

The 2019 models are rolling in, and automakers are adding special packages to help keep buyers flowing into showrooms. Toyota is following suit with the release of the new 4Runner Nightshade Special Edition.

On the outside, the 2019 Toyota 4Runner Nightshade Special Edition starts with black-painted front and rear bumper spoilers, side-view mirrors, door handles, window moldings, rocker panels, door garnish, roof rails, and badging. Black-chrome moldings set off the grille slots while black exhaust tips spruce up the rear. Rounding out the exterior upgrades are black 20-inch wheels.

The Nightshade Special Edition package also dresses up the cabin. Inside, this rig gains loads of black trimming on the steering wheel, center cluster, console panels, shifter knob, shift panel, and inner door grips.

Toyota bases the Nightshade Special Edition on the 2019 4Runner Limited. Buyers can opt for two- or four-wheel drive and have three color options: Midnight Black Metallic, Magnetic Gray Metallic, and Blizzard Pearl.

The 2019 Toyota 4Runner Nightshade Special Edition is in showrooms now at a premium of $1,740 over the base 4Runner Limited model. This puts the four-wheel-drive model at $43,965 and the four-wheel-drive model at $46,000. The 4Runner nightshade Special Edition is available now.
