Chevy Gives New Blazer a Price
At the beginning of 2019, Chevrolet will give everyone the privilege of buying an unibody crossover that bears the name of an old body-on-frame off-road SUV. Yes, that’s right, the market launch of the 2019 Chevy Blazer is coming. That means we also have a price.
For the low, low cost of only $29,995 MSRP you could own the Blazer L, the stripped-down trim. What a steal! This thing will be all the rage at soccer games, school pickup lines, and Trader Joe’s parking lots across the country. Just don’t go looking for them at camp spots.
In all honesty, that starting price does squeeze out the Ford Edge by about $1,000 and the Nissan Murano by nearly $2,000. That bottom Blazer trim does feature HID headlights, LED taillights, dual-zone climate control, heated side mirrors, 4G LTE WiFi, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen that’s slower than your phone, plus Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to use your phone through the slower system.
Upgrading to the RS means you get all those blacked-out details which will intimidate other shoppers in the mall parking lot. We don’t know how much that or the Premier trim will cost, but we should find out sometime in the near future. Chevrolet says you’ll be able to get super useful options like a heated steering wheel and wireless phone charger, but it’s not specifying which trim comes with what quite yet.
