Italdesign Unveils Stunning Coupe Rendering

Following several teases, Italdesign has finally shown a full rendering of its unnamed coupe that will be revealed during the Geneva Motor Show. It’s an absolute stunner, if the sketch is any indication.

Perhaps we have hope for a future with beautiful cars. Lately, many automakers have been going with questionable designs, so this one from Italdesign is a breath of fresh air. Of course, the coachbuilder has a strong reputation for making beautiful cars, so it’s not really a surprise.

While the front is aggressive-looking, it doesn’t appear that it will gouge your eyes out. Small headlights and taillights take full advantage of modern technologies. The overall profile is swooping and elegant. Even the wheel design is fresh and original, without looking like Italdesign is trying too hard.

The most amazing detail is the massive gullwing doors. They’re dramatic and really punctuate this is not your average vehicle.

It’s difficult to say for sure, but the rendering makes it look as through this car has a pair of rear seats. With the doors stretching as far back as they do, that would make climbing in and out of the back actually far easier.

Italdesign won’t say anything about specs. Also, since this is a rendering, several details could be different. The car might be a concept, but there’s a chance it’s not. We’ll know soon enough, plus have a name to put with this beautiful face.
