The New Buick Regal TourX Is A Steal

Buick is quickly becoming the hero of discerning enthusiasts. Not only is the brand releasing the Regal TourX, which is a wagon version of the car, the thing will be surprisingly affordable. Right now, if you want a luxury-learning wagon, you have to shell out what many consider a ridiculous sum. According to CarsDirect, the starting MSRP will be under $30,000.

That means you can get this Buick wagon for less than options from BMW, Audi, Volvo, and more. That base trim, called the 1SV, features 18-inch alloy wheels, a universal remote, active noise cancellation, heated side mirrors, and a push-button ignition. It uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine good for 250 horsepower and 265 lb.-ft. of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive are standard, too. Not too shabby.

For $33,575, the 1SB delivers the best value. It packs on door sill plates, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, plus a power-adjustable driver’s seat. The $1,240 Driver Confidence Package adds a blindspot monitor, rear cross-traffic assist, rear parking sensors, auto-leveling headlights, etc. For $1,200, you can also add a panoramic roof.

If you want it all, the top-of-the-line 1SL has an MSRP of $35,945. It adds standard leather upholstery, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and dual-zone climate control. Plenty of driver assistance technologies are optional.
