McLaren Special Operations Will Celebrate the New Year With New Options

Owners of any McLaren Super Series models will be in for a treat when the calendar turns to 2017. For the new year, McLaren Special Operations will release a collection of new options to spruce up their respective supercars, which include the 12C, 650S and 675LT.

The exterior options are more plentiful and include all sorts of carbon-fiber bits such as a rear diffuser that not only reduces weight but also enhances airflow, mirror arms and caps, louvered front fenders that shave off about a pound and a hood. The latter is actually the same as we saw on the 650S Can-Am model.

There are a few modifications inside, as well. These interior changes include carbon-fiber vent bezels, sill tops and steering wheel. Buyers can wrap the latter in leather or Alcantara. Rounding out the interior mods are extended carbon-fiber shift paddles.

All these upgrades will be available for all Super Series models. Buyers can have them installed at a local McLaren dealer. What’s more, these mods extend beyond just new models, as current owners can have their used models retrofitted with these upgrades.
