2019 Lamborghini Urus Details Revealed

After lots of teasing, plenty of rumors, and a some previews, we finally get all the official details on the much-anticipated Lamborghini Urus.
First, its looks. Yup, it looks just as we all expected, which is nearly identical to its concept that debuted back in 2012. There are a few key changes as it moved from concept to production, like the front and rear apron designs and more defined body lines, but it is largely the same mold as the concept.

We already knew Lamborghini would install a turbocharged V-8 engine in the Urus, but Lambo gave that plenty of time to sink into the heads of its fans. Now, we finally get a look at Lambo’s first-ever turbo V-8. This 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine injects 650 horsepower and 850 Nm 628 pound-feet of torque into this super sport utility vehicle. The power routes through an eight-speed automatic transmission before heading out to all four wheels.
The resulting performance is impressive, as 62 mph comes in just 3.6 seconds and its top speed rings in at 305 km/h (190 mph). Thanks to its massive carbon-ceramic brakes that feature 10-piston front calipers and six-piston rears, the Urus will come to a halt from 62 mph in just 110.6 feet.
Inside, the 118.2-inch wheelbase of the Urus will allow for considerably more room than any other Lamborghini. It’ll seat up to five relatively comfortably — oddly enough, the images make it look like it seats only four — and swallow up to 56.3 cubic feet of cargo.

The 2019 Lamborghini Urus should be in showrooms in spring 2018 with a starting price of about $200,000.
