Chevy Reveals Redline Special Edition Models

During the Chicago Auto Show, Chevy revealed a new line of special edition models, called Redline. While Chevy’s famous for its special edition models, this version spans the most models out of any it’s ever made, so it’s a pretty big deal.

Nine different cars, trucks, and SUVs are getting the Redline treatment. They are the Cruze LT, Malibu LT, Camaro LT/SS, Trax LT, Equinox LT, Traverse Premier, Colorado LT and Silverado Double Cab or Crew Cab LT Z71.

All Redline models come with some distinct styling features, like black wheels with red hash marks, a red outline around the black nameplates, a black grille and black Chevrolet bowtie emblems. It’s a way to go with a more sinister look on your Chevy, without getting aftermarket upgrades.

From there, the styling caters more to the different market segments. For example, the Colorado and Silverado gain red tow hooks.

The first Redline model available is the Silverado, which can be special ordered through dealers now. The other Redlines will become available on a staggered basis, with all of them available by the end of this year.
