FIAT Adds a Few Appearance Packages to the 2017 500

The 2017 FIAT 500 is celebrating the model’s 60th anniversary. With this celebration comes the release of a few new appearance packages that add a little spice to this tiny rig.

The Sport Black Trim Appearance Package will be an option on the 500’s base Pop trim level. It will add body-color sport fascias and fog lights, black-trimmed headlights, a black roof, side sills, mirror caps, sport spoiler and taillights, and Hyper Black 16-inch aluminum wheels. Inside, this package throws in sport cloth bucket seats with silver accent stitching, a front passenger armrest, and a black instrument-bezel panel. All this comes in at an extra $1,295 over the 500 Pop’s MSRP.

Moving to the Two-Tone Appearance Package, the 500 Pop gains a black, red, or white roof with matching mirror caps. This package adds just $295 to the base MSRP.

Finally, the Abarth Roof, Mirror Cap and Body Stripe Appearance Package adds pretty much what the name says. It takes the wild 500 Abarth and adds secondary roof color options of black, red, grey or white. The mirror caps, side stripes, and spoiler will also come in the same secondary hue as the roof. This package will add $495 to the 500 Abarth’s base price.

FIAT made no mention of when the 2017 500 with these options will be available, leading me to believe they are available now. Stay tuned for updates.
