Mercedes-AMG Does One Last Special Edition G-Wagen

If you want a capable off-road SUV, but are afraid of getting it dirty, the new Mercedes-AMG G63 and G65 Exclusive Edition models may be the perfect fit. They probably also mark the last refreshing of the storied SUV before the new generation launches next year.

These two Exclusive Edition models will be priced in German at €163,125 for the G63, and €287,658 for the G65. What, you might ask, do you get for all that extra dough?

Among the upgrades are exclusive 21-inch alloy wheels. The five twin-spoke design, combined with a matte black finish for the G65 and high-sheen for the G63, will declare to everyone else that you dropped serious coin on the thing. If you prefer, you can get a different design, still with the five twin-spoke layout, plus a high-sheen rim flange and side rub strips with faux carbon fiber inserts.

All these Exclusive Edition models have the same AMG Monza grey magno matte paint available, if you want to set it apart even further. Standard for all models is the designo Exclusive package for the interior, which includes two-tone leather upholstery, AMG sport seats, plus either carbon fiber or piano lacquer trim pieces. You can get all kinds of other upgrades for the cabin, like red seat belts and leather grab handles.
