Ford Continues the GT Heritage Edition Lineup into 2018

In 2017, Ford added a ‘66 Heritage Edition to the GT lineup that paid homage to the 1966 Le Mans-winning Ford GT40 Mark II. Now, with the 2018 GT lineup coming soon, Ford has revealed the follow-up model, the ‘67 Heritage Edition.

This model, of course, pays its respects to the GT40 mark IV race car that Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt piloted to victory in 1967. Its intentions are obvious from the get-go, as it comes coated in the same glossy Race Red hue as the ‘67 racer with white racing stripes, as well as white No. 1 stickers and graphics. Silver mirror caps round out the body tweaks.

Like the racer, the GT ‘67 Heritage Edition features gray-colored wheels, but on the Heritage Edition, these are more modern 20-inch rollers with black lug nuts. Peeking from behind these wheels are red-painted calipers.

Inside, buyers will be treated to upgraded leather on the carbon-fiber seats, red accent stitching, red seat belt webbing, anodized gray paddle shifters, satin dark stainless-steel appliques on the instrument panel, door register bezels and x-brace, and matte carbon-fiber door sills, air register pods and center console.

While Ford didn’t announce how many of the 2018 GT ‘67 Heritage Edition units will be available, we do know it will be available in very limited numbers.

Stay tuned for updates.
