Aston Martin Reveals a Pair of Red Bull Racing Edition Vantages

Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing are celebrating the kickoff of the 2017 F1 racing season with a pair of special models based on the Vantage S.

Specifically, Q by Aston Martin will craft these special rigs from the V8 and V12 versions of the Vantage S. While they will be mechanically identical to their base models – the V8 Vantage S will use a 430-horsepower 4.7-liter V-8 and the V12 Vantage S will use a 568-horsepower 5.9-liter V-12 engine – they will stand out visually.

From the outside, these Red Bull Racing Editions will feature a standard deep Marina Blue color, just like the Red Bull Ragin livery. Optionally, buyers can go with a gloss Tungsten Silver or satin Marina Blue. Also giving these models a look that deserves the Red Bull Racing name is a race-inspired carbon-fiber splitter, rear diffuser, grille and side strakes. Brightening things up a bit are the red accents on the grille and the yellow-painted calipers.

The interior gets a slight redo with Red Bull Racing embroidery on the headrests, carbon-fiber inlays, diamond quilting, and an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with an accented 12 ‘o clock marking.

Rounding out the additions to these models are signatures by Red Bull Racing Drivers Daniel Ricciardo or Max Verstappen on the sill and inspection plaques.

These special models will start hitting showrooms in the second quarter of 2017. Pricing will come later. Stay tuned for updates.
